LEGO Robotics Engineering I
We will be holding 2009 summer camp at our Danville Center. and few selected summer day camps at South Bay, Concord and Lafayette in East Bay locations. Register
Campers will be using the LEGO NXT Robotics system to design, build and program their robot from scratch. While building robots during the summer camp, campers not only accumulate skills in engineering, computer science, and physics, they also learn valuable leadership and project management skills that will help them throughout their life. Students participating in our Robotics camps are guided through a hands-on experience, where they learn to build robots using the LEGO NXT Robotics System. LEGO NXT Robotics is a new generation Robotics invention system featuring a 32-bit microprocessor that combines state-of-the-art ultrasonic, sound, light and touch sensors in the next generation of intuitive robotics. Kids are also introduced to LEGO Pneumatics and will learn to use LEGO Pneumatics for building attachment to their robots. Campers will explore Robotics arm and learn to program it using a PC interface. Students will work in teams throughout the camp. Teams will compete in a friendly Robotics challenges on Friday. Family and friends are invited to watch and cheer their teams. No prior experience in programming is necessary. At the end of the camp kids take home all the pictures and tournament video on a CD.
