 
Anita Khurana
Founder/Program Director
As program director and founder of VisionTech Camps & Classes, Anita Khurana has spent over 18 years juggling careers in computer technology, robotics coaching and education in order to shape her understanding of technology and the necessity to start teaching technology to young kids. Anita's experience provides her with the understanding of how to best work with young students. For the last six years Anita has been the lead coach for an East Bay Robotics team that has participated in many regional and state tournaments and presented many innovative research solutions to tournament judges, companies and associations. With her extensive teaching and coaching experience, Anita has brought her enriching and accelerated technology classes to many bay area school districts. She sets the bar for the entire VisionTech team, daring each of them to be a leader in their field.
Mahesh Khurana
Co-Founder/Camp Director
Mahesh and Anita founded VisionTech in 2002 together. Mahesh still continues to share responsibilities of day-to-day operations. His love of electronics began at age six and he continues to tinker with new inventions in the garage. He is an Engineer by profession and has spent more than twenty years working in the technology field. Prior to starting VisionTech, Mahesh held key positions at several startup companies where he has been involved with some of the most innovative software development teams of the Internet's first era. In addition to directing camp activities, Mahesh is actively involved in innovative technology career and community-related activities such as robotics coaching and First Lego League Robotics Tournaments.
Rahul Khurana
Rahul is the baby of the family. His passion with computers started when he was two and was enrolled in Kindercare. From the very first day there, he was identified as their tech support guy. The only time he was distracted enough to not cry when his mom left was when he was troubleshooting computers. Rahul has been the inspiration for many new courses at VisionTech. When he built a pc by himself and learned about overclocking, it inspired us to bring Build A PC summer camps to all east bay kids. Rahul's mom has been his teacher since he was in third grade. Currently he is completing his high school requirements through independent learning via Stanford and Northwestern University. He has been involved with robotics for the last six years. He has participated in several regional and state robotics tournaments along with his teammates and presented many technology research solutions to panels of judges. Rahul loves to share his knowledge with everyone and continues to volunteer his time educating students about robotics in many east bay schools. Currently he and his teammate are getting ready to participate in an upcoming VEX robotics challenge. Besides volunteering his time teaching, Rahul is also VisionTech's webmaster and technical expert.

How We Teach

We understand that active involvement between the camper and the instructor results in successful learning. At VTC, we urge our students to think critically and give them activities we believe will help them come up with original ideas. We involve our campers in discussions that that encourage creativity and out of the box thinking. We foster learning in workshop style hands-on activities where each camper is encouraged to design and create projects that are truly unique. In our building camps such as Build A Roomba Sentry or Build a PC, students are asked not only to build but to understand concepts of design and function for each of the parts for a lifetime understanding of how to learn that goes beyond the VisionTech classrooms.
At VTC we know that learning is a unique process for each individual child and that all children explore their environment at their own pace. Our job as VTC instructors is to facilitate the learning process by guiding them through their own journey in learning technology.
