After School Technology Instructors

VisionTech Camps & Classes is seeking part time, after school technology instructors with familiarity with at least one of the following fields: Robotics(LEGO Mindstorms), Video Game Creation(Multimedia Fusion), Podcasting, and Publishing(Adobe Indesign.) VisionTech is willing to train candidates with prior after school or summer teaching experience and computer knowledge.

Qualified candidates will have a passion for technology, previous summer or after school teaching experience, an energetic, fun loving personality and flexible evening / summer schedule. Local university and college students and teachers are encouraged to apply.

What the job entails:

• Part time instruction for after-school enrichment programs in San Ramon, Danville, Orinda and Piedmont, Los Gatos
• Helping students learn new technology in hands-on workshop style camps and classes
• Commitment to technology education and a strong desire to work with young students is a must
• Must be good working with groups of children and have a clean criminal background (no felonies or any crime against children)
• Must have good English skills and be clean and well-groomed
• Must be available on weekday afternoons from 2:00 - 5:00 PM
• Must have reliable transportation to get from school to school
• Must be punctual and on time to any scheduled class.
  

VisionTech Camps & Classes offers accelerated and in-depth educational summer computer camps and after school enrichment classes that exceeds the expectations of our students and their parents. We set the standard for innovative and stimulating technology education, creating long-term and wide-ranging benefits for all children. We are truly a family owned and operated non profit company based in San Ramon, California. We provide a great balance of summer day camps, an exceptional mix of gaming camp and unique summer programs, such as Robotics Podcasting, Building a PC, Digital Film Making and Roomba Robotics. All of our hands-on summer computer camps and enrichment classes inspire students of today to become tomorrow's high-tech entrepreneurs and inventors.

Most of the work will be after school time. We pay by the hour and salary ranges from $15-$25 an hour based on your knowledge and experience. Experienced and knowledgeable instructors usually will work 20 hours a week and will be given priority for summer jobs.

Summer Camp Technology Instructors

VisionTech is willing to train candidates with prior after school or summer teaching experience and computer knowledge.

Qualified candidates will have a passion for technology, previous summer or after school teaching experience, an energetic, fun loving personality and flexible evening / summer schedule. Local university and college students and teachers are encouraged to apply.

• Summer camp instruction for Summer day camp programs in San Ramon, Danville, Orinda and Piedmont, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Half Moon Bay, Burlingame, San Francisco, Mountain View and Sausalito.
• Helping students learn new technology in hands-on workshop style camps and classes
• Commitment to technology education and a strong desire to work with young students is a must
• Must be good working with groups of children and have a clean criminal background (no felonies or any crime against children)
• Must have good English skills and be clean and well-groomed

Work hours will be from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We pay by the week and salary ranges from $500-$700 per week based on your knowledge and experience. Experienced and knowledgeable instructors usually will work multiple weeks and will be trainined in various programs and will teach multiple courses.
